For Pop-ups, Markets & Ghost Kitchens

Spin up a location for a weekend. Tear it down Sunday night.

Time-boxed pop-up events with pre-order windows. Farmers' markets, supper clubs, festival booths, ghost kitchens, holiday pop-ups. Native to Fulplate — not a hack on top of a restaurant POS.

The painful way
  • No platform treats pop-ups as first-class — you fake it with a 'special menu'.
  • Customers don't know when or where the next pop-up is.
  • No way to cap pre-orders, so you over-promise.
  • Cash-only at the booth, no card option.
  • Each pop-up resets — no customer history, no loyalty.
The Fulplate way
  • Pop-up events module: name, venue, dates, deadline, capacity — all native.
  • Pre-order window with deadline auto-cuts off when capacity hits.
  • Customers subscribe to your future pop-ups, get notified.
  • Mobile mPOS at the booth — tap, cash, mag-stripe, all on a phone.
  • Customer history follows you across every pop-up.

Common questions

What to expect.

How is a pop-up different from a regular location?+

It's time-boxed. You set start/end dates, optional pre-order deadline, optional capacity cap. After the end date, the location auto-archives and customers can't order. Reuse the same template for the next event.

Can I run multiple pop-ups at once?+

Yes. Run a Saturday farmers' market and a Sunday supper club at the same time. Each has its own venue, deadline, and capacity.

Do customers pay online or at the booth?+

Either or both. Pre-orders are paid online; walk-ups at the booth use mPOS (tap, mag-stripe, cash).

What about no-shows?+

Pre-orders are paid in advance, so no-shows still pay. You can also require a deposit and charge balance at pickup.
